Cross-infection Control

Cross-infection prevention is a high priority in the practice. The meaures taken include:

sterilisation of stainless steel instruments and handpieces in an autoclave;
rubber gloves always disposed of between patients;
needles are disposed of after single use;
purified water is plumbed through the equipment, and we have a system for removing potentially infectious biofilm from all waterlines.
